Intercontinental Cry (IC) is looking for a passionate and committed Volunteer Social Media Manager to help amplify the voices of Indigenous communities around the world. This is more than a role—it’s a calling.

For nearly two decades, IC has stood at the intersection of journalism, environmental justice, and Indigenous rights—sharing stories that mainstream media too often overlooks. Now, we’re seeking someone who believes in the power of storytelling, advocacy, and digital community to help guide our presence online.

What You’ll Do:

Share powerful Indigenous stories, movements, and victories across our social platforms
Cultivate meaningful engagement with a global community of allies and changemakers
Collaborate with our editorial team to promote articles, campaigns, and initiatives
Bring creativity and intention to our digital presence

You Are:

A thoughtful communicator with a passion for justice, Indigenous rights, and decolonial media
Experienced with social media strategy and tools (or eager to learn and grow in the role)
Consistent, creative, and ready to show up for something that truly matters

This is a volunteer position, ideal for someone who wants to gain experience in mission-driven media, and be part of a small, dedicated team working to amplify stories that the world needs to hear.
